
2022 Milton Youth Volunteer Scholarship
$1,500.00 each (three available) + $1,000.00 each (two available)
Purpose of the Scholarships
• To acknowledge individuals who exemplify and have demonstrated community leadership by Volunteering
• To acknowledge individuals who exemplify and have demonstrated community leadership by Volunteering
Applicant Criteria
• Must be a resident of Milton.
• Currently a secondary school student. NOTE: you do not need to be student graduating in 2022.
• Must be exceeding 40 hours of volunteerism.
• The candidate must have demonstrated leadership in their school and/or community.
Application Deadline

Application
• Write an essay relating to your experience of volunteering in your community and the value you provide, including a summary of education/career goals. Word count 500 - 750.
• Provide a resume listing the organizations in which you have involved.
• Provide two written references (Volunteering Organizations and Educational)
• Provide copy of current Transcript
Selection Process
• The selection committee will consist of members of the Rotary Club of Milton.
• The committee will review all applications and select finalists who will be interviewed.
• Academic achievement will be a consideration but not necessarily the deciding factor.
• The scholarship winners will be notified by early May.
• Scholarship recipient and /or representative from the school shall be present at the Rotary Awards night in May to receive award.
