A remarkable evening was conducted celebrating the outstanding achievements of our community at the Rotary Club of Milton's 2025 Award Night! The event recognized this year’s scholarship and bursary recipients, generous donation partners, and inspiring community leaders.

💙 A special moment of the evening was presenting a $4,000 donation to the Townsend Smith Foundation, received by Rick Di Lorenzo and presented by District Governor Sohail Naseer and President Abiola Akinremi. We also contributed $1,500 to Rotary International’s PolioPlus Fund, presented to District Polio Chair Badar Shamim, along with a donation to the Rotary District Foundation, received by Lesley Barmania.
🎓 We awarded Mike Ledwith Scholarships and Rockwool-Sponsored Environmental Scholarships and bursaries to 17 outstanding graduating high school students. A huge thank you to our Youth Chair, Dr. Sidra Farid , and the entire awards committee for leading this impactful program. We also extend our sincere thanks to Andrew Avgousti from ROCKWOOL for joining us and continuously supporting our youth programs.
👏 Congratulations to Romeo Mitchell, recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award, for his exceptional dedication to Rotary’s mission of service and humanitarian work.
And finally, a heartfelt thank to Mayor Gordon Krantz for your presence and unwavering support of the Rotary Club of Milton, Caitlyn Burke for sharing her experience on Youth Exchange Program and our MC for the night Denise Burke.
Together, we’re building a stronger, more compassionate community! 💛🌍
